Fresh Out the Oven
The Christmas Cookies trailer splash is now up! View it as flash, Quicktime, or download it to your iPod and share
with friends. Freetime has been pretty slim these days, so production on this project has been put on hold for the moment.

We still aim to keep moving with some cool new Umbilical stuff in preparation for a possible "Monster Mania" appearence in May. We really hope we can make it but a few things have to fall into place first. Keep surf'n in and we'll keep you posted.

Still here. Still Undead.
Hey, everyone! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted news and you may have thought the site is dead but we’re still here. I’ve been away on business for a month in California and finally arrived home to Philadelphia.

Mike and I are talking about the new design for the site and are just about ready to share the “Christmas Cookies” trailer page with you. I’ll post a link once we’ve got it how we want it. Hope you all enjoy it!

Umbilical Signs with Maxim Media:

We mentioned it a couple months back and have not talked much about it since, but the big news is finally here and our agreement with Maxim Media Marketing has been finalized! Willy Will & Time to Grow Up are now proud additions to the Brain Damage Films catalogue. Thanks to Charity at MMM and to everyone who helped us reach this goal of international distribution potential. We look forward to supporting MMM in this exciting time for independent film!

Editor and Documentarian, Stephen Breslin and I were hard at work the past month, gathering all necessary files and media for this licensing deal. MMM will be releasing the two films together as a feature. Along with this may also be some segments of our over 90 minutes of special features that we provided (some that have not even been seen yet by anyone accept Steve and myself).

This process will take some time, but keep a look out as Maxim Media seeks international distribution for Willy Will and Time to Grow Up. And in late 2006, the films will be re-released on American DVD. (In the meantime, our DVD version of the films will be “out of print.” So please send all questions regarding DVD release to Darrin@BrainDamageFilms.com)

Fancy Pants Cinema
The screening at Bryn Mawr went very well last night. We had a lot of support from our cast and crew which didn't surprise me. The people who were part of this production and/or previous productions of Umbilical pictures are top-notch friends and filmmakers and are always there for help and support. Most of these people would bend over backwards to help and I'd do the same for them.

Tonight we are hoping to screen the trailer at Fancy Pants Cinema @ North 3rd Bar. Founder and host of Fancy Pants, Mr. Scott Johnston recently arrived home from Sundance and we're hoping he is back into the swing of things with this weekly event (Every Tuesday @ N. 3rd Bar). For More info, visit the links and feel free to call N. 3rd to confirm tonight's screening (215.413.3666) Hope to see you all there!
